Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. This data is handled by Disqus.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site.. Users may visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

TechRaptor Accepts Payments via PayPal for its membership. No payment information is stored on TechRaptor, and all processing is handled by PayPal. Each cycle, a member will be billed by PayPal, and upon successful payment - TechRaptor's backend will be informed to update the member's status, but no other information beyond that is transferred.

TechRaptor utilizes the services of Wordpress, Alexa Internet, Quantcast, and Google Analytics to track pageviews and site usage. These sites maintain some user data, although that data is anonymized.

We use Google Analytics and Comscore to analyse the use of our website. Google Analytics and Comscore gather information about website use by means of cookies. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

TechRaptor receives data from various third parties that we work with for Advertising, Analytics, and Affiliate Marketing. We do not tie this data into our membership platform, and it is kept it separate from any personal information that is entered into a member's profile, with the exception of membership role - which is used to remove ads from our site via code.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

TechRaptor does not use any user data to make automated decision making at this time, although advertising partners will use some user data to present relevant ads to users.
