Bloomberg New Energy Finance’s New Energy Outlook 2018 has calculated that by 2050, half of the world’s energy supply will come from wind and solar sources, which is supported by the sinking prices for batteries and energy storage solutions. The report also cites that around 3.461 TWh will go to electric vehicles, (around 9%), half of which are expected to feature dynamic charging by 2050.
