Scania has published a life cycle analysis on the life cycle assessment of distribution vehicles and comes to a clear conclusion: The environmental impact of battery electric vehicles over the life cycle is significantly lower than that of vehicles with combustion engines. The initial climate rucksack during production, primarily due to the battery, is already offset within one to two years of operation.
