Electric heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) will soon be cheaper overall than diesels in the UK, according to a new study commissioned from industry experts Element Energy by Transport & Environment UK. The analysis shows that battery electric trucks can already start to replace diesel trucks for most uses in the next few years.
