Sandra Roling leads the EV100 initiative for The Climate Group and has so far secured pledges from major fleet operators such as DHL/Deutsche Post, the Swiss and Austrian postal services and Ikea for the NGO.

The corporations promise to work towards a zero-emission fleet asap, and the pledge now totals over 2 million electric vehicles by 2025. However, the group has a broader message, says Roling, who is calling on automotive manufacturers “to be more ambitious” on the supply side. In our conversation, the EV100 leader also reveals what kind of commercial electric vehicles are needed and details the business case for electrifying your fleet – no matter the size.
