Since Tesla announced they will only be selling left hand drive cars in the UK I am not sure this will be enough to convince buyers to buy a Tesla given they will be worth alotnless when it comes to selling or part exchange.

This is actually very lame,
The previous subscription was 25p/KWh – and was epic they are effectively more than double the prices.

I’d be happy to pay even £20 per month to get those KWh prices. If anything they should incentivise cars that charge fast on the 350Kw chargers (KIA/Hyundai/Porsche) etc – rathe than slow charging cars that hog the fastest chargers for hours.

You can charge your batteries on the fly by incorporating generators on each wheel hub. Depending on the generators capabilities it can even run your buses threw capacitor banks replacing your batteries all together. and another bank can be incorporated to be used solely for start motion. After motion is achieved the generators on the wheel hubs will supply more than enough electricity to run the bus. You can even specifically incorporate a generator to recharge a separate bank for starting the process and drop the batteries in primary uses all together Or only use them only for starting motion. This will reduce the size of a battery required to operate the bus. And save resources such as lithium for other applications or ban lithium for industrial uses as well as common uses.

The Superbowl ad by Californian billionaire Dan O’Dowd, has been proven to be a fake, without AutoPilot in operation, among other actions by O’Dowd to incorrectly prove his point.
Yes, we have had phantom braking incidents, several times during a cross-country drive in Autumn of 2022, but many of the reports, to which your article refers, have been disproven as driver error AND that AutoPilot was not even turned on in most cases.
AutoPilot in aircraft also require pilot interaction and constant awareness of situations which may occur. At least Tesla does not show advertisements, like Ford and GM, with truck drivers taking their hands off the wheel and playing clapping games, even while towing. Where is the public outrage directed at Ford and GM?
AutoPilot is still level 2, and Full Self Driving beta is also still level 2. Get the truth out and don’t simply parrot what others “claim”, without verifiable proof.

The lack of a feasible EV charging structure is the issue that isn’t being addressed. I live in a Regency era street when people didn’t have their own transport. Nobody can charge at home, its utterly impractical to covert a few lampposts into stations (work out the rows!) and at present there are no public EV charging stations within miles – despite living in one of more prosperous and populous areas of Kent with three major motorways within 5 miles. Plus the cost of EVs are eyewatering. Hybrids are going to need to be exempted as Toyota are pushing. Put it back to 2040 seems more realistic.

I still can’t believe automakers don’t realize they just shooting themselves on the foot. Don’t they know China EV’s will be coming by the millions in not such a near future and as soon as buyers start to realize how good is to drive an EV, EU automakers will never be able to compete? Only conclusion that I got to is that this move is just done by CEO’s that plan to be in the company just for the next 5 years, and what comes after they don’t care since they will be log gone.
