Pyka unveils autonomous electric cargo aircraft

Powered by four electric motors with a total output of 100 kW, the Pelican Cargo by Pyka is said to be the largest autonomous electric aircraft to date. The model has a payload of 400 pounds and a range of 200 miles, or 181 kilograms up to 320 kilometres.

Tesla drone.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) inspired by Tesla has been put out there by designer Fraser Leid. So far, the Tesla Drone is only a vision but one that takes extra long range (60 min) and its own charging station (superbly fast and wireless) from its name sake. Ludicrous, is it not?!

Click tip: Top Speed issued a map showing the world’s most googled car brands per country. Tesla takes the top spot in Norway, but seems also the most sought after car in China. At least according to Google search, which is not the most widely used search engine there.

A drone following your car’s moves – sounds scary at first but is actually thought of as a safety feature by the Eye in the Sky team, which just won Toyota’s Silicon Valley App Design Competition. The drone is your live view from above and might be used for parking.
