The supplier ZF has started series production of the electric central drive CeTrax lite. The new driveline is suitable for use in light commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tons. ZF says it has already received orders for the CeTrax from Asia and America.

Wolfspeed & ZF move ahead with European SiC factory
The US semiconductor manufacturer Wolfspeed has confirmed previously leaked plans to build a plant for SiC semiconductors in Saarland with local supplier ZF. The highly automated 200 mm wafer plant will be the company’s first “fab facility” in Europe and is expected to be the most modern of its kind.

Moove struggles with insolvency
In Germany, the Aachen-based Moove GmbH (formerly e.Go Moove GmbH) has filed for insolvency. The company, which specialises in electric shuttles and currently employs 90 people, has been “hit by recent developments in the financial market”, according to insolvency administrator Dirk Wegener.

Wrightbus presents their first battery-electric bus
