Solaris secures record order from Germany

Solaris has announced a record order for hydrogen buses from the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: The transport company Rebus Regionalbus Rostock has ordered 52 fuel cell buses from the Polish manufacturer, including 47 vehicles with a length of twelve metres and five articulated buses.

Hamburger Hochbahn orders five H2 buses from Solaris

Public transport provider Hamburger Hochbahn continues electrifying its fleet using fuel cell buses. The transport operator has ordered five units from the Polish manufacturer Solaris. The Solaris Urbino 12 Hydrogen are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2024 and will be used in regular passenger service in Hamburg.

Aschaffenburg orders H2 buses from Solaris

In Germany, the municipal utility company Stadtwerke Aschaffenburg has ordered twelve hydrogen buses from the Polish manufacturer Solaris – ten Urbino 12 hydrogen solo buses and two Urbino 18 hydrogen articulated buses . The latter two are a first for Solaris.

Hermes orders 10 Solaris e-buses in the Netherlands

Solaris Urbino 12 Electric buses headed for Sicily

More Solaris buses are to hit polish streets. Public transport operator Miejski Zakład Komunikacji has ordered eight Urbino 12 Electric for use in the Polish city of Zielona Góra. The electric buses will be adapted to the city’s existing charging systems and are scheduled for delivery within a year.

Polish municipal association orders 32 Solaris buses

The Polish municipal association Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolia (GZM) has ordered 32 electric buses and the associated charging infrastructure from Solaris. The 12- and 18-meter-long Urbino electric are to be used by operators from Gliwice, Katowice, Sosnowiec, Świerklaniec from 2023.

Prague orders 20 e-buses from Solaris & Skoda Electric

The Prague transport operator DPP has ordered 20 double-articulated trolleybuses from the consortium of Solaris Bus & Coach, Solaris Czech and Škoda Electric. The Solaris Trollino 24s are to be delivered within the next two years and will be used in the Czech capital.
