BYD has presented the first electric bus jointly developed with the Spanish chassis builder Castrosua. Both companies signed a manufacturing partnership last year. The first units of the electric bus will soon be in use in Spain.

BYD has signed a framework agreement with Castrosua, a Spanish manufacturer of bus bodies. BYD and Castrosua will work together to offer locally manufactured 12-metre electric buses specifically for Spanish customers.
